What Causes Yellow Colored Urine And Delayed Menstruation?

Hi there, So my period is about 10days late. My urine over the past couple of days has been bright neon yellow. I did also only just start taking a multi vitamin, which ive heard can cause ur urine to be yellow. But then ive heard it can be early signs of being pregnant? Im not really getting any symptoms of my period coming anytime soon either which i find strange. Negative home pregnancy test.

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com. Sorry about your concern. To answer two questions you have:
1. Vitamins will change the color of your urine, depending on the ingredients, please note that most of the vitamins that are artificially consumed are excreted in the urine and/or feces. We absorb very little of those supplements.
2. Pregnancy can be present despite a negative home test, you can do one of two things, have a blood test done at a lab which is more specific or repeat the home pregnancy test again in 5 days or so. Who knows, something you may have ingested in the vitamins could have messed with your menstrual cycle.

I hope this helps and good luck.
