What Causes Yellow Discharge And Spotting After Intercourse?

I am having a slight pregnancy scare at the moment... Had sex on Friday night and the condom broke, couldn t access the morning after pill until Monday morning. I finished my period on Thursday so I was at the least fertile of my cycle according to my period tracker. I had some chalky yellow discharge and light spotting afterwards, is that because of the pill or pregnancy? I live in a very small town and I am quite young and very afraid of buying a pregnancy test.. Everywhere online just says the works case scenario but I am just wondering how likely it is? Not ovulating or fertile, had barely begun the act when the condom failed and I took the morning after pill within 72 hours..

Hi,

I pill within 72 hours of sex is likely to prevent pregnancy.(though the action is better the earlier). As you have just started your menses. There is again possibility of no or irregular ovulation in beginning. You should get your routine period about 8-10 days late because of the hormonal interruption in normal menstrual cycle. If you don't get it till then. Consult a gynecologist, she will examine you. Also get a pregnancy test done if needful. In case it's positive she would help for medical termination of pregnancy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
