What Causes Yellow Discharge From Ears After Adenoid Removal?
My son has had tubes placed in his ears twice and had his adenoids removed over a month ago. Last week his ear started draining again (pouring a yellow thin liquid) he will be seeing his doc next week, but how can this be happening and what can be done to fix it? He s has this problem since birth and the tubes nor removing adenoids have done any good!

Hello,
The yellow discharge from the ear is usually related to an ear infection. I suggest to use ear drops with antibiotics to treat the infection.
I also suggest to give him Tylenol in case of ear pain.If the symptoms continue, you should see an ENT specialist for further evaluation.
