What Causes Yellow Discharge From Submandibular Gland When Diagnosed With Sinus?
Hi, I have been suffering from sinus for years but i have learned to control them through spray and texa 10. The problem i have now is with the yellow discharge from my submandibular salivary glands which alsoproduce stones from time to time.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain yellow discharge from submandibular gland seems to be an indication of infection in the gland or Sialadinitis and the yellow discharge seems to be pus. I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and if required he/she can advise you to get a cross-sectional x ray or an MRI SCAN done to rule out the exact cause of discharge and as you already have a history of stone discharge from glands they can also be ruled out as pooling saliva due to obstruction caused by gland also cause infection..
For infection antibiotics can be advised.
For stones removal can be done either manually or by surgery if required..
As of now drink plenty of water and chew sugar free chewing gums as it helps in stimulating saliva flow..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
