Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. This time last week I have noticed white/yellow puss coming out of the top of my penis when I squeezing it out. I know this is a urethral infection. I have no other symptoms other than small pain when I pee, which developed within 2 days after initial self diagnosis. The pain has decreased a little and the pus has become more watery and is slowly oozing out on its own. It is little irritablness in the urethral shaft now. My boyfriend said it ll go away in a week or so as he had the same thing years ago. I believe it is slowly going away but not as fast as i want it to. Is there anything I should do or any medication I can go get from the chemist?
The clinical symptoms suggest an STD. You should go to your local doctors, have a diagnostic test and start a treatment most likely with ceftriaxone plus azithromycin. Avoid having any sexual activity until a STD is properly ruled out.
