What Causes Yellow Fluid Pus Discharge After Mole Removal?
I had a mole removed on the back of my arm last Thursday. I have been putting the ointment they gave me on my arm twice a day as instructed and still have no scab forming which is good I think. Today is Tuesday and when I removed the bandaid there was yellow pus like fluid on the bandage. I have not seen this before. When I looked at my arm there was no yellow fluid coming out of the wound. Should I be concerned?
Yellow fluid could be serous fluid, which is normally seen sometimes during healing process.Continue applying ointment which was prescribed, if the fluid discharge increases or if it's foul smelling then consult your doctor to rule out wound infection.
Thank you
