Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
This morning I had woken up and when I bended over, my nose started pouring bright yellow liquid. It looked like stomach acid. This past week I was sick, puking sick for about four hours. I fell asleep woke up feeling better. What could this yellow liquid be?
As per my clinical experience, as there is recent history of systemic illness, I would quote this to be bacterial sinusitis or others with infestation via Staph aureus, epidermidis, Pseudomonas or others. In my clinic, after thorough clinical examination, I do suggest a culture swab report of microscopy to reveal the primary source of infection and treat accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
