What Causes Yellow Patches Inside The Cheeks And Roof Of Mouth?

I have yellow patches on the inside of my cheeks and the roof of my mouth is light yellow. My dentist suggested I rinse with salt wAter 3 times a day. I have acid reflux and take Losec for it. Could the Losec be causing the yellow patches and the roof of my mouth to be yellow?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain yellow patches on the inside of cheeks can be due to eruption of canker sores while yellow appearrence of roof of mouth can be due to oral ans throat infection while acid reflux can be a cause for it..
Not maintaining a proper oral hygiene and dry mouth can also be causes..
As far as Losec is concerned, it contains active ingredient Omeprazole and is used to reduced acidity in case of acid reflux and relieves the symtoms and is not seen to cause yellow patches..
Consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and if infection is suspected you can be advised oral swab culture to rule out the exact cause of the problem and will be treated accordingly..
As of now continue doing salt water rinses and along with it you can also bo gargles with 1:1 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water..
Drink plenty of water and gargle after eating anything..
