Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve just noticed a reasonable amount of yellow patches on my chest underneath chest hair. It doesn t wash off but if I rub it without water it comes off (probably coming off with the skin). It doesn t itch and doesn t hurt at all. It s all in one place and appears to be in small blotches but just in the centre of my chest.
Hello As there is small yellow crust or patches present in between hairs of chest . But without physical inspection it is very difficult to diagnose these patches . However, may be due to these possibilities , these include: 1 Dandruff ( layman ) i.e. fungus infection. 2 Frunculosis 3 Eczematous dermatitis. There are so many other possibilities but still I would like to suggest either upload the picture of these patches or consult a DERMATOLOGIST and get his opinion. Wash it with mild antiseptic lotion dry it , apply ketoconazole soap .This may be useful for you.
