What Causes Yellow Skin Pigmentation In Hands?
Hi, re my daughter 14 year old healthy. Just noticed that her hands are very yellow (like a old smokers hands). Her skin type is Caucasian and very pale naturally and lol on at her she appears a bit yellow tinge all over however very noticeable yellow hands and brownish give to joints on hands looking at top of hands. Whites of eyes normal. Thanks mum (Helen)

Discussion:- The only possibility of this could be anemia, but underlying cause of this need to be ruled and it may need some investigations.
Medication:- Iron therapy can be tried.
Advise:- Get done the hemoglobin test and if this low then underlying cause need to be found out.
Comments:- In case of female menorrhagia would be the cause.
