What Causes Yellow Urine With Abdominal Discomfort Post Gallbladder Attack?
Hello, after having a gallbladder attack and then vomiting, my urine turned dark yellow. Hours later my urine is no longer dark yellow but it s still very yellow. The pain and soreness were gone for many hrs but now I m just feeling a little discomfort again like soreness again in my upper abdomen. Should I rush to the hospital or is it something I can wait to pass? I have been drinking alot of water since the attack. Please help, thank you!
You have the issues due to loss of fluid and electrolytes. With the history bomiting and all that it happens very commonly.
Keep taking a lot of fluids. Take Cranberry juice for better results. Also add Dietary fiber Supplements (available at major stores with names like fiberall, Citrucel etc). Keep takin diet that is rich in water and fiber like Vegetables and fruits. It will help in digestion and will also help you get fluids and fiber.
Right now start taking Pedialyte Oral rehydration solution for fulfilling the deficiency of fluid and electrolytes. You will be alright soon. Keep a follow up with a Laparoscopic Surgeon for gallbladder issues.
I am sure it was all you needed an answer for. You may ask if you have more queries.
