What Causes Yellowish Skin And Frequent Stomach Pain?
hi doc, i have a friend with hepatitis b way back... i think 7 years ago? he used to drink alcohols then. he's also a smoker before but quit last year. just this june, his skin turns yellow for a week.. then by that time, he said he's been feeling pain with his tummy more often. it's been 3months and he just said it lately. what can we do about it? do you think it's chronic hepatitis already? are there some treatments i can offer to him? please help. i do appreciate your time. thanks.
To rule out hepatitis she must go through blood test that is liver function test. At the same time she must also go through cbc to get herself checked for any other ailment like anaemia. What about her diet ; urine is it yellowish? Does she vomit or feels nausea. These are few symptoms of hepatitis. She should start bland diet till the test results. Even if the results are negative she should continue with bland diet as this could be symtoms of acid peptic dyspepsia. She start taking tab pantoprazol twice daily empty stomach till she is relieved.
