what causes a person to get strangles with fluid or food .I have many episodes when I am breathing norma; then take a breath fluid goes down my throat as if I was drinking water and i get strangled and coughing turing red almost losing my breath,it happens if I am eating sometimes so I try to talke small bites swalling many times to keep from strangling This tends to be embarrissing if out in public restaurants People tend to look at me as if to say you shouldnt be her sick
