Urologist 's  Response
Hello Dr.Sachin and welocme to HCM.
As an Urologist, let me advise you, that a bladder stone is the most likely.
You can confirm it, by doing an ultrasound scan of the abdomen and pelvis.
As there's a history of kidney stone treatment, a stone may have slipped down and caused this block to the urinary passage. It's very common situation.
The patient should be catheterised to relieve the acute retention of urine .
Thereafter, once stone is confirmed, it can be treated endoscopically.
If the patient is a male above 45-50 years of age, prostate gland is a cause.
If you want my expert opinion, you can send it as a direct question.
Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
