Hello and welcome to HCM, There is a risk of development of second malignancy in patients undergoing radiotherapy. However, the blood work shows low platelets only. There is no evidence of abnormal cells in the blood examination. Leukemia is characterized by very high white blood cells and presence of abnormal cells. Platelets are depressed due to chemotherapy and radiotherapy. A regular blood work up is required to monitor the platelet counts as it should not fall beyond one lakh per cubic millimeter. Stay in regular touch with your treating doctor.
