Hi Nirja, Hope you are doing well!! Me & my husband have same boold group i.e. A+ve & we are married since 1 yr. Nw planning to hv a baby..but worried as will same boold group create problem in pregnecy & also will der be any abnormilities in baby after delivry.

Hi,

There is no known added problem in baby if husband and wife have the same blood group. Though there is a small study, which describes effect of blood group on fertility. According to this study, ladies having O group are having less eggs and hence, somewhat less chances of conception. This study also indicates that person with Blood group A are the most fertile and that is what both of you are. Therefore do not worry. You can comfortably go with your plans of having a baby.
