What Could A Small Lump On Armpit Oozing Cloudy Liquid Indicate?
Hi last sept I had a painful lump under my right armpit. Went to emergency and it was staph infection. Took a month to heal. Doctor switched me to roll on deodorant. Now last week I had a lump under the skin in the same spot but smaller but not painful at all. Well looked at it yesterday it looked like a cloudy liquid leaking from the incision where they last cut from the one last Sept. Can u tell me what this is. I don t thinks it s staph infection like last time cause its not painful or big or anything
Thank you for sharing your query on Healthcaremagic, I have carefully worked through your case and you have an Hidradenitis that is an inflammation of sweat glands I recommend you some tips to avoid the recurrence, wash your armpits 2-3 times/day( you can use wipes) apply a light deodorant ( not the greasy one ) wear fresh clothes and take a vitamins supplements, doing this you are avoiding the obstruction in your glands ducts, at this moment I don't think either that you have an staph infection just apply a cold compresses to relieve any discomfort and do not manipulate excessive. I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care
