Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain and explanation of the symptoms it indicates that due to placing of the dip there has been chemical
injury to the mucosa in that area leading to inflammation and swelling and
redness are signs of inflammation..
The friction cause by the dip as well as the chemicals releases stayed in contact with the gum mucosa and caused its irritation and inflammation..
You should avoid placing the dip not only in this area but also anywhere else in mouth as it can cause even serious diseases like
Oral Cancer..
For the inflamed gum you can do cold water rinses as well as saline gargles..
Apply Chlorohexidine containing Oral ointment or paste gently over it..
Avoid spicy and hot foods to prevent irritation to that area..
Maintain a good
Oral hygiene and use a soft toothbrush to brush your teeth..
It will resolve in less than a week but if there is pain and if the swelling increase
consult a dentist to get evaluated for the possible cause of it..
Hope this information helps.
Thanks and regards..
