What Could Be Cause Of Left Breast Pain?
I have been having pain in the top of my left breast that continues down inside the breast when I bend over or I am laying on my left side. My breast aches and I have to sometimes hold it in close to my body so the surrounding area is supported. I don t know what I could have done to cause the pain, there is no discharge from the nipple, and the breast does not appear to be swollen or inflamed. I have been bothered with this for the past few weeks. I have had a lump removed several yeas ago, it was benign. My overall health is good.

Breast pain like yours seems to have been caused by poor support, i.e, ill or poor fitting bra. You must use a well supported and comfortable bra throughout the day, more so if you are fat, or have big breasts. Also look for lumps in the breast as well. This is called "Breast self examination" and is best done during or before a shower. There are medications to ease the pain as well. Please contact me with details of the previous surgery.
