What Could Be Causing A Sore Throat With Tiny Blisters On It, Mild Fever And Fatigue?
I have a sore throat that is worse in the evening. There are lots of tiny blisters in my throat and the sides of my throat are yellowish in color. I also have extreme fatigue. Sometimes a low grade fever, glands are not swollen. I had mono as a teenager, but I am sixty now. What could this be?

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain proper oral hygiene. You should avoid cold carbonated beverages. You should take you take nasal decongestant sprays, antihistamines and antibiotic combination as infection is present. Do warm saline gargles 3 to 4 times a day. Take soft foods to avoid irritation to the throat. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment accordingly. You should take Diphenhydramine and Dextromethorphan for 4-5 days. Throat lozenges one every 4 hours is helpful. Drink lukewarm water throughout the day as it can provide relief.
