What Could Be Causing Progressive Bi-lateral Lower Extremity Weakness For A 13-year-old?
What causes progressive bi-lateral lower extremity weakness with allodynia and persistent migrane type headache where MRIs, blood analyses for infection and autoimmuine disease are all negative as well as negative lyme and dysautomonia and negative heavy metal testing? Patientfor a 13 year old female
hi...u have provided incomplete history. see whether weakness is progressive or not. childs outdoor activity is reduced or what ?? if both answer is YES then it may be due to MYOPATHIES.. you have to go for SERUM CPK LEVEL and if level is high then go for MUSCLE BIOPSY EXAMINATION..after it consult pediatritian for expert openion.
