What Could Be Done For The Pain And Swelling In The Eye And Hurts To Look To The Sides And Downwards?

Yesterday i got hit in the eye with a softball during practice,it was coming full speed. Right away we put ice on it and iced it until i went to bed. Today I iced it for ten minutes for every hour and the sweeling went down but it now hurts when i move to look around. I can t even look to my side or down when it hurts.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Its quite common to have painful eye movements after blunt injury to eye.
I would suggest you to see a ophthalmologist to rule out deeper injury.
Its important to assess by an Ophthalmologist.
In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care

Best Regards
