What Could Be High BP(200/90) And Loud Burps In A 80 Years Old Female?
Dear Sir, My mom who is about 80 years of age is having BP 200/90 in spite of having sarpagandhavati 2 tbalets twice a day. Actually she worries a lot about us, her health etc. and i think because of this she has such continuous large loud burps in the night although her digestion appears to be fine. for digestion she is taking kankayan gutika and mahashankhavati.
KIndly let me know the remedy so that her BP stabilises and she does not have those burps. thanks and regards.
Although your mum is taking ayuverdic medicine for hypertension and gastric complains, to my opinion, it is time that she should consult a cardiologist and to run further tests to evaluate her heart status including;
Based on the results of such tests would prescribe further medications to lower her blood pressure together with : - omeprazole - antiacids - simethicone for bloating/gas - probiotics
Keep monitoring her blood pressure, record the results and pass them to her cardiologist for further evaluation.
All the best! Dr.Alba
