What Could Be Severe Cough In A 8 Months Old Child While No Relief With Zyrtec,Levolin,Monocef,Asthalin,Omnacortil?
My 8 month old son is suffering from cough for last 3 weeks. He was given Zyrtec and Levolin for 5 days. Since the cough did not subside he was given the antibiotic Monocef O -100 and Asthalin for 7 days. His cough did not go and now he is given Omnacortil for 5 days and Asthalin. Doctor told that since Omnacortil is steroid must be given for a max of only 5 days. Today is the fourth day and his cough has not yet subsided. Should we go for further tests? Which other mediccation will be safe for my child?
