Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have bumps on either side of my legs around my pubic area 4 bumps on my stomach and the bumps around my legs an testicles have a goo or pus. I am very scared of what this could be. I was tested about 1 month ago for stds and passed. I dont know if this is an allergic reaction of some type. Please help me.
Hello As you describe in your query that there were bumps in pubic area and also over abdominal area . STD ruled out . Pus also present . No doubt this is a contact skin infection may be streptococcus or staphylococcal infection, because ingrown hairs infection develops such type of bumps . When such patient visit I advise them to take care of personal hygiene with levofloxacin 750 mg / day for 7-10 days with aceclofenac 200 mg twice in day . I also advise them to take pantaloc- D tablet along levofloxacin. The 2nd reason of such type of bumps may be SCABIES , diagnosis can be confirmed by physical examination by a physician . Since these drugs are prescription medicine so please consult a PHYSICIAN or DERMATOLOGIST and get opinion.
