What Could Be The Cause For Lump On Left Side Of Mid Neck And Throat Area?
I have a small lump of the side of my neck. I just noticed it after a few days of having a strained neck. Its about the size of a marble and on the left side midneck area on the side of my throat area. doesnt feel hard or hurt but it is uncomfortable. Any suggestions of what it may be or what i should do ? Thanks
I can understand the concern for lump side of neck and throat area.
After reading the query it appears to be lymph node proliferation due to diverse and multiple causes.
I advise you to not pinch or pop the area otherwise these areas are very prone for getting secondary infection.
For time being period you can take NSAIDS tablet such as paracetamol or diclofenac. Do not try to even touch or pinch the area as can cause more aggravation of the problem.
You should preferably meet a Otolaryngologist (ENT doctor) who can examine you physically and provide the best guidance and treatment.
Take care.
