What Could Be The Cause Of Headache, Decreased Range Of Motion In Neck, Vertigo, Hearing Loss In One Ear, Profuse Sweating, And Uncontrollable Eye Movements After An Accident?
I have a 50 year old patient with c/o headache, decreased range of motion in her neck, vertigo, hearing loss in one ear, profuse sweating, and uncontrollable eye movements. Her past medical history indicates she was in a car accident 3 days before her admission. What are the possible causes of these symptoms?

There is some definite neurological injury in accident. Get an MRI brain to see the areas involved and ENT examination to rule out perforation.
The patient should be attended by a team of physician, neurologist, probably a neuro surgeon is also needed.
Eye movements are also result of neuronal injury. Avoid giving patient any sedatives till full examination is done.
