What Could Be The Cause Of Mild Pain In Left Vas Deferens Which Reflects To Left Testicle?
I have a mild pain on what appears to be my left vas deferens. What would the causes of that be? I also noticed that the pain reflects in my left testicle. Additionally, when I press on it, I feel that it goes back to my left kidney. Thank you in advance for your answer.

Pain in the vas deferens could be bacause of infection medically called orchitis if the infection is in the testis and epididymitis if it is in the epididymis. This presents as pain and marked swelling in the affected area. Another differential diagnosis would be varicocoele. This is abnormal enlargement and diilation of the veins in the spermatic cord (the structure that connects the testis to the ejaculatory ducts located in the prostate). This presents as no swelling but enlargement of the spermatic cord especially during straining and valsalva maneuvers. This can be confirmed by doing a scrotal ultrasound with doppler studies.
