Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Ivo Ditah's Response
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms and swollen glands that you have reported. The swollen gland is probably and inflammatory reaction of the lymph nodes in response to the allergies you have reported. The redness around your injection site is a recognized side effect of injections. Apply cold packs to it and it would be okay. For the swollen glands, they would slowly return to their normal size after the allergies get settled. There is no reason to get too worried about this right now. .
I hope this helps. I wish you well and thank you so much for using our services. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
