What Could Be The Circular Patches Of Tiny Flesh Colored Bumps On Stomach Of A 16 Month Baby?

Hi. My 16th month old has circular patches of tiny (pinprick size) flesh colored bumps on his stomach. They are rough to the touch but you can barely see them unless you re in the right light. I first noticed them about a week ago. He has about 5 circular patches about the size of a nickel, located only on the right side of his stomach. It s very strange. What could this be? Thanks.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

It could possibly be Tinea Versicolor which is fungal infection of the skin.
Exact diagnosis as in any skin lesion depends on good clinical examination.
I would suggest you to consult your dermatologist for expert opinion.

Take Care
Best Regards
