What Could Be The Cloudy Part On Head In CT Scan?

Just had a CT scan of my head and th dr. reassured ma there was No bleeding and he couldn'[t see ay tumors, however he sai he would recommend a follow up appointment with a neurologist because there was a cloudy part on the scan. Could you please give me an idea of what this could be??

Thanks for writing in.

It is best if you can send the CT scan images with the reason for getting it done. If there is no bleeding or tumors then there is no need to worry. The cloudy description on CT scan does not fit into any one particular condition. It is not clear if the doctor was referring to some normal structure or talking about a suspicious finding. Sometimes a cloudy area can refer to focal changes in the brain which are not of a serious nature.
