What Could Be The Large Lump On Left Breast During 11th Week Of Pregnancy?

hello i am a 29 year old female and i am currently 11 weeks pregnant. last night i discovered a lump that is half in my left breast and half into my cleavage. it is large, the size of a quarter, and very painful. i am seeing my doc on friday, but any thoughts to help ease my mind now?

During pregnancy, the body goes through various hormonal changes and these change in hormone levels can result in various changes in the body including the breast tissue. This lump could be harmless and purely as a result of elevated hormones, but it is still best to get it checked by your doctor.
