What Could Be The Lump On The Inner Thigh After A Long Run?
Hello..just got back from a 4 mile run and noticed a somewhat tender red bump on my inner thigh next to my testicles. I do have quite a bit of rubbing there from running. I have some skin tags in the area as well, but they aren t painful. What could this be?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Red painless bumps on the inner thigh could be due to skin tags. These bumps seem to be unrelated to running. Folliculitis could be a possibility, however, there is no pain. Folliculitis is caused by inflammation of hair follicles and it is associated with pain. Skin tags are benign growth arising from skin and they are painless. Lymph node enlargement in the groin region could be one of the possibilities. However, clinical assessment is required followed by relevant investigations and thus management.
