What Could Be The Lumps At The Place Where Ankle Arthroscopy Was Performed ?
23 yr old male, 175cm, 75kg. i had an ankle arthroscopy 5 weeks ago the remove bone fragments nd basically clean up the joint beacuse i have sprained it many times in the past. i have been recovering well but had a question. i have lumps on the sites where the arthroscopy was done, underneath the scars. are these bumps just scar tissue or something or are they a problem on their own.
Hi,
If you feel throbbing pain at that part then it is likely that there may be infection taking place and you consult your orthopedic surgeon for exam and treatment.
If is painless you do not worry as there may be scar or swelling of tissues which will gradually be ok.
