What Could Be The Lumps In Between The Collar Bones And Around The Rib Cage And Seems To Move Easier When I Gain Weight?

Dear Doctor, I have a lump kind of between my collarbones but I may also have one on the end of the left one. I have also been experiencing a lump feeling in my throat and it makes it hard to swallow at times and even breath, not all the time but sometimes... Could these be linked? I have had this throat thing since before Thanks Giving and the other one for quite some time. Since we are not going to chat I also want you to know that I do have and have had um several lump like that feel as tho they may be connected around my rib cage and seem to move easier when I gain weight. This is not easy for me to tell you. Thank you for your time and consideration I appreciate you. Sincerely, Jammie M.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
What you describe in the throat may be some thing related to the sore throat, an infection by bacteria. It may not have any relation to the lumps in the chest wall. They may be costo chondrosis, or lipomas.
For throat problem, i advise you to consult an E.N.T. surgeonfor diagnosis and treatment. As you say it is a chronic infection, so you may need to have the culture and sensitivity of the throat swab for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythromycin, phenylephrine, citrizine, and paracetamol.
Avoid taking fruits, juices, cool water, cool drinks, and ice cream till you have relief of the throat symptoms.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you
