What Could Be The Painless Lump On The Forehead?

Dear Dr Siegel, My mum has a small painless lump on the top of her head. It was her hairdresser who noticed it. Mum says it changes in size, sometimes bigger and sometimes smaller but overall size is less than an inch in diameter. Apart from this, my mum is absolutely fine. What could it be? Thank you so much. M
