What Could Be The Reason Behind Elevated ESR With History Of Breast Cancer?
I had breast cancer last year with 3 lymph nodes involved , I finished chemo and radio in February ! I have just had an esr blood test done last wee which was slightly elevated , I have to have it repeated in two weeks time , should I be worried ? Also hade bone profile done it was normal

There are many causes of rise in ESR. In a patient with breast cancer, it could be due to the metastasis to the bone and other parts of the body. In your case, you have got a bone profile done and it is normal. It could be also due to chronic infection, which can occur after chemo (due to decrease in the body's immunity). Sometimes it can be raised without any cause. In that case it is best to get the test repeated after 3 months.
