What Could Be The Reason For 2 Week Old Infant Having White Pimple Like Bumps On Groin Area?

Hi my almost 2 week old infant son has little white pimple looking bumps on his groin area. One has seemed to have gone away then another one popped up. They look kind of popable but of course I haven't and won't pop them. I have hsv but was on valtrex before delivery and they checked me and said I didn't have any open lesions at time of delivery. Please help me.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

it could possibly be folliculitis or in common term boil which is quite common in infants due to sweating and hot weather. It's unlikely to be Herpes lesion , as they usually occur in crops.

Do get back with clinical photograph to Healthcare-Magic if the boil persist.

Take care

Best Regards
