What Could Be The Reason For Constant Runny Stools After Eating Or Drinking With A History Of IBS?

i have had to go to the bathroom everytime i eat or drink something for 2 months. constant runny stools. doesn't matter what i eat or drink. pepto helps with diarrhea but still go all the time. i have ibs, but this isn't it. colitis runs in my family, with dad, 2 uncles and a few others. uncle just diagnosed he is 68. I am 55. had colonoscopy 4.5 years ok
no blood in stools. no other symptoms. have lost 12 lb. i took diclofenac in case of inflammation no help. took a few amoxcillin i had, i think it helped but only had a few. just wondering about it. some pain but not to bad.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

going to rest room immediately after eating is due to hyperactive gastrocolic reflux.

Also possibility of lactose intolerance has to be considered.
Diclofenac is not useful in treating inflammation of colon. It may worsen the symptom by causing gastritis.

Consuming plenty of oral fluids , high fiber diet will help.

Take care

Best Regards
Dr Deepak
