What Could Be The Reason For Experiencing Pain In Vaginal Area?
Hi Doctor. My 18 yr old daughter was complaining about pain she was experiencing in the vaginal area and has green discharge constantly on her undies. She is away on holidays but previously the doctor advised her to take fucidin acid cream. I bought it for her this morning and she applied it and is crying as it is burning her. What should we do. regards Chris

Hello. It looks like vaginitis, that is infection.Generally these are mixed infections and many antibiotic antifungal combination kits are available for this to treat.Since this is second episode I think a consultation should be undertaken with doctor.Maintaining local hygiene is one of the important aspect to prevent recurrence.
Regards.
