What Could Be The Reason For Fainting, Palpitating, Tingling Down Left Arm To Fingers?
I have these funny attacks where I feel faints ,get palpitations, tingling down left arm to fingers and everything seems quitter like a fog in my ears .it only lasts a couple of mins then I am fine again but this is happening more and more, I am female , 33 years old and 175 lbs and 5ft 5 ichs tall, YYYY@YYYY
It may be from postural hypo-tension.. check your BP standing and lying? It can be from anaemia – check haemoglobin? Has an ECG been done?
The body's balancing mechanism is in the inner ear. An ENT (Ear Nose Throat) specialist is the one to see - especially in the presence of tinnitus. They have special tests to confirm or exclude the contribution of the ear - which probably is the case with you.
If there are no clues, you have to be followed up by a neurologist. MRI may be needed. MRA (MRI angiography) shows blood vessels and is generally done at the same sitting.
If still elusive, see a cardiologist – ECHO, Stress EKG and Holter may be done
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
