What Could Be The Reason For Having A Rash, Redness On My Pubic Area, Headache And Itchiness In Eyes?

A few days ago i completed a course of cefalexin for a chest infection (10 days 2000mg per day). About 7 days ago i noticed a rash underneath my bust then onto my stomach and lower back and also redness on my pubic area. The rash looks like someone has scratched my skin. I have a headache, feel very hot and tired. The rash seems to get worse just before bedtime so the last few nights i have been taking an antihistamine. I get slight itchiness in the eyes and ears prior to the rash on my stomach etc.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It may be allergy related to drugs you took most probably. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis and proper treatment. I would recommend you to stop the drugs if you are taking, Under the observation you may take antihistaminics and if needed, oral steroid in tapering dose.

Hope this helps.
