What Could Be The Reason For Having Acute Pain In Back Of Head And Tiredness For A Person Having Rheumatoid Arthritis?
My 87 year old mother has had acute pain in the back of her head for a week. We think it is an acute flare up of her rheumatoid arthritis. It does not seem to be changing. SHe is growing increasingly tired and depleted, not wanting to get out of bed in the day now.
hi there. Acute pain in the back of the head is unlikely due to flare up of RA as other joint are more commonly involved in the flare up process. According to me she needs to consult a neurologist for her symptoms. Tiredness and feeling of depletion are common in RA though and at her age can be a problem. Increasing the dosage of her prescriptions or adding a new drug will help in curing this. Good luck
