Dear Sir

Spitting of blood usually happens in two conditions
1.bleeding gastric ulcers
2.gastric carcinomas

But is it the frank blood or digested blood. Digested blood appears coffee coloured. If it is digested blood there is more chance of gastric ulcers

Thirdly esophagus erosion might cause the same type of symptoms

The gold standard investigation is gastrointestinal endoscopy.

Please proceed

Thanks
