What Could Be The Reason For Having Itching And Blisters On My Right Palm?
I recently developed itching and blistering on the palm of my right hand after drinking alcohol. Seems to get worse with increased use. Doesn't matter of it is white wine, red wine, or hard liquor. I have had a couple episodes. Takes weeks to heal. I am going to avoid alcohol from now on, but it's weird. It's a new problem that only became present a couple years ago. No problems before then.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Development of itching and blistering on palm after consuming alcohol can be an idiosyncratic reaction. Idiosyncratic reaction is a reaction occurring due to a substance which is not seen under normal conditions. This type of reaction is unknown. If the itching and blistering is disappearing after stopping alcohol, it is quite possible that alcohol is the main cause. If the symptoms reappear you can consult your doctor.
