Well slight itching in the
Urethra may be normal and I suggest you to wait my friend..
Hi and welcome to HCM..
Thank you for posting your query..
I read your question completely and completely and have understood it well.
I being a surgeon, we encounter so many such cases..
You say the following few facts, which make me there's no much of thing to worry..
1. Mild itching
2. Not sexually active
3. No pain or burning
4. No discharge.
All these points towards normal process that happens sometimes.
We can wait.. Untill you get some Alarming symptoms like the one you mentioned above.
At max, you can have urinary Tracy infection.
And this can be treated with
oral antibiotics.
I suggest you to do the following things..
1. Be confident, that there's no pathology.
2. Drink lot of water, around 4 litres
3. Keep a track of symptoms, if itching persists for more than 2 to 3 days or if you develop other symptoms then please get these two things done.
A. Urine routine and microscopic examination
B. Urine culture and sensitivity..
With this we can plan for further necessary treatment.
Hope this helps you..
In case you need any help with this, let me know.
Take care and God bless.
