What Could Be The Reason For Having Left Areola Darker Than The Right One?
Today I noticed that my left areola is significantly darker than my right one. It caught my eye as I was changing in front of a mirror. This is new; they used to be the same color. I've had my annual exam and had a recent mammo, but don't have the results yet. Should I be worried?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. This is just a normal physiological variation. The slight variation in the color does not natter. It does not indicate any pathology. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Rakhi Tayal , drrakhitayal@gmail.com
