What Could Be The Reason For Having Nausea Every Morning While I Wake Up?
Thank you.... I am a 71 year old male, and I have nausea every morning within the first 20-30 minutes I wake up. It is almost always dry Nausea. This has been going on for 2 years now, and though I several good physicians in the Galveston area. None have been able to explain or understand my condition. They all recommend a nausea pill before I go to sleep....However this does not help.
Hello, Thank you for asking query. Nausea in the morning may have various causes. Firstly lets concentrate on your eating pattern.Do not sleep just after dinner.Lets have a break of atleast 1 hour before sleep will help you.And do not have gap of more than 3 hours after dinner. Secondly you may be having problem of reflux. If this is so then avoid sleep completely flat will help you avoiding reflux and prevent nausea in the morning. Thirdly some medications may also cause nausea.Lets have a look what medicines you are taking regularly may cause this.Lets have discuss with your doctor in details about the cause. If possible consult a gastroenterologist who may assess your problem in details. Hope this helps.Take care. Thank you.
