What Could Be The Reason For Having Recurrent UTIs?
Hello sir,
I had UTI six months ago doctor prescribed me broad spectrum antibiotics and Cital syrup, but again i had this severe UTI infection after a gap of six months what is reason for this recurrent UTIs. I am a female of 30 years not married.
Hi, Thanks for asking this question. Females are more prone to get UTI because of a short urethra and anatomical structure of the genitalia.Does Unmarried mean you are sexually inactive ? I suppose so. If this is the case I will suggest fallowing
1- Get your urine tested for Culture and sensitivity, which will guide you about the exact treatment of the involved germs. 2- Get your renal and abdominal ultrasound done. stones and structural abnormalities can cause repeated attacks of UTI. 3 Do consult your GP whcih will be of great help. Don't simple ignore and keep using broad spectrum antibiotics. Repeated attacks of UTI can damage your kidney.
I hope this will be of some help / benefit for you.
