thanks for asking your question I completely understand your question first thong is quit smoking as early as possible sharp pain in chest which is catchy can be due to variety of reasons from gastritis / peptic ulcer to pleral effusion you can consult a pulmonologist who may advise a proton pump inhibitor like pantoprazole once daily and request for a chest xray to rule out any other cause as mentioned above . dont panic chest pain at this age hardly have any serious cause. thanks feel free to ask more questions
